Ron Biscardi is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Context Capital Partners, a leading alternative investment firm focused on delivering specialized solutions to sophisticated family offices and institutions through a diverse portfolio of niche strategies. Mr. Biscardi also serves as Chairman of the Board of Context Summits, a leading conference provider in the alternative asset industry and a wholly owned subsidiary of Context Capital Partners. An industry veteran of more than 28 years, John’s experience encompasses trading, venture capital, asset allocation and hedge fund portfolio management. John is the Chief Investment Officer at Context Capital Partners. As CIO he is responsible for sourcing new investments and the oversight of the current portfolio. He is also Chairman of the Investment Committee.
Prior to assuming his current position with Context, John ran the investment committee and was Chief Investment Officer for a large family office where he oversaw a portfolio of hedge funds and was responsible for asset allocation decisions. In addition to his family office background, John was a founder of Gamma Investors, a venture capital fund that invested primarily in financial services technology companies. He spent the early years of his career in New York and London as a partner at Cooper Neff and Associates, a quantitative proprietary trading firm. At Cooper Neff he founded the London office and traded derivatives on fixed income, commodities and equities. That firm was sold to BNP Paribas in 1995 where John became an Executive Vice President, a position he held until 2000.
Among his extensive outside activities, John is chairman of the board of directors at Urban Promise, an innovative urban youth organization headquartered in the city of Camden NJ. John received his undergraduate degree in Business and Economics from Rutgers University and earned a Master of Liberal Arts, from the University of Pennsylvania.

Kevin Garton is President of Context Summits and a member of Context Capital Partners executive committee. He brings more than 30 years of strategy and executive management expertise to Context having worked across a variety of industries. At Context Summits, he is responsible for the overall leadership of the company, including business strategy, revenue generation, technology, operations and strategic partnerships. He is also responsible for the growth and development of the Context Family Network, a peer-to-peer membership organization for single-family offices.
Kevin has over 30 years of experience having served as Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Operations Officer at Context Summits parent company, Context Capital Partners. Prior to those roles, Kevin was Chief Marketing Officer at Context Asset Management. In addition to his experience at Context, Kevin has held leadership roles in the technology and consumer products industries at F-500 firms as well as start-ups.
Kevin earned a B.A. in Psychology with a Business minor from Washington University in St. Louis, MO, and he holds an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.

His career began in academia in the Finance Department of Santa Clara University in 1993. Six years of academic research on bank consolidation led to a career in investing. Mr. Hendershott co-founded BH Equity Research, LLC in 1998 in order to begin implementing community/regional bank consolidation investment strategy, and also co-founded Context BH Partners LP, a long/short, event-driven hedge fund also focused on consolidation, in 2012. After forming BH Equity Research, LLC and prior to forming Context BH Partners LP, Mr. Hendershott sub-advised a large hedge fund on a $200 million long/short portfolio of community bank stocks for nine years. He also sub-advised to a significant family office on a $60 million private equity portfolio for eight years.

For seven years, Mr. Huang was a Sr. Portfolio Manager at Carlson Capital where he was responsible for North America public market utilities, power & midstream investments. Before Carlson Capital, Mr. Huang held senior roles at Citadel Global Equities and Black River Asset Management (Cargill). Mr. Huang holds a B.S. in Business with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Southern California.

Anant is the founder of Greenland Investment Management, a global systematic arbitrage manager with assets in excess of $150 million. Anant has 11+ years of experience managing institutional and proprietary capital via systematic investment strategies. Prior to Greenland, Anant co-founded India's first onshore hedge fund, Forefront Capital Management, a systematic investment management firm. He successfully sold Forefront to Edelweiss Financial Services. Prior to Forefront, Anant was a portfolio manager at AQR Capital as part of the Global Stock Selection team where he managed global statistical arbitrage and U.S. equity portfolios. Anant graduated from the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology (M&T) from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Economics and a B.S.E. in Computer Engineering.

Adam Karp is Head of the London office and Research Director for EMEA at Prelude Capital. Prelude Capital are a non-traditional allocator to hedge funds and CTAs. Prelude currently have allocations outstanding of approximately $5 billion to 100+ managers via a risk-based managed account structure. The firm seeks liquid, low volatility strategies that complement its existing portfolio.
Prior to joining Prelude, Adam was a Director at Bank of America Merrill Lynch on the Prime Brokerage team, based in London. Prior to joining Bank of America Merrill Lynch in 2016, Adam spent the previous 10 years at Credit Suisse.
At Credit Suisse Adam held numerous positions across Prime Services beginning in New York in 2006, as a hedge fund start-up consultant. In 2008 he relocated from New York to join the Prime Services Asia-Pacific team where he established the business consulting team regionally. Throughout his 7 years in Asia, Adam lived in Tokyo, Singapore and Hong Kong and held senior roles across consulting, sales and capital advisory. In 2015 Adam relocated from Hong Kong to London, joining the EMEA Prime Services team.
Prior to Credit Suisse, Adam worked at Eze Castle, a boutique technology consulting firm that focuses on the alternative investment management community. Adam graduated from the State University of New York’s Honors College at Geneseo with a BS in Management and a minor in Information System.

Simone Sobel is Managing Director of Investor Relations at Context Capital Partners. Simone manages the Investor Relations efforts for Context Capital and Context Summits, and manages Context Family Network, an exclusive community comprised of high-quality single family offices. Prior to joining Context, Simone was with Wells Fargo’s Capital Introduction team, as well as with Halcyon Asset Management, focusing on business development. Peter Tarrant is a Managing Director and Head of Business Development and Capital Introduction at BTIG. Responsible for marketing and sales across the firm’s various divisions, he works to identify potential clients and cultivate new business opportunities. Mr. Tarrant is also a member of BTIG’s Global Operating Committee. He joined the firm in 2002 via BTIG’s predecessor firm Baypoint Trading. Mr. Tarrant has nearly 25 years of industry experience. Previously, he spent seven years at Banc of America Securities (formerly Montgomery Securities), where he held several senior management roles within the Equity Trading division. Mr. Tarrant began his career as an Associate within Private Client and Corporate Services at Montgomery Securities. He earned his BA from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Diego Torres is a Managing Partner and Head of Institutional Investors at Grantia Capital. Diego has 27 years of experience in the investment world. He started his career in 1992 as a proprietary trader at Société Génerale, working both in Madrid and Paris. Then he was Managing Director and Global Head of Treasury for Banco Guipuzcoano in Madrid.
